I mostly just do web development...wish i was a designer, but my creative juices stop at the guitar...
Right now I am working at a startup, trying to change the world one call at a time...
hmm...there should be a "list" post...
well…i think there should be a list post…you know, you can post your grocery list, list of things to do for the day, all kinds of stuff…
Here is my list of things I want to accomplish these next few months…in no particular order
1. Learn Nginx, and learn it well… Since this is what the start up is using for our webserver, I would like to be able to write my own .conf file for it instead of just using one my friend cam wrote…
2. Learn to love testing…So i suck at testing my code…BUT I also get nervous when i commit a change…I think i hate testing less than i hate feeling nervous…so, thats what i call a win win situation…
3. Start the nashville Web 2.0 meet up…or something like that…I techincally am co-organizer of the ruby on rails meet up group…but, thats an akward situation I wont get into…
4. Go to NLUG(nashville linux user group).
5. Go to a sounds game with my friend kelsie…one of the nights they have fireworks would be nice…
6. have a stronger faith…
7. Write a gem…
8. write a facebook app…
9. contribute to the rails core…
10. get better at design…cause lets face it…this layout sucks…oh…and this is a 2 parter…own adobe design premium…and learn how to use it…
So next time I will post goals for the next year… :)

So, 2 sundays ago, my cousin’s husband, Brian, got in a really bad motorcycle accident, he had some massive trauma to the head, and his spleen almost ruptured. I just so happened to be coming home this past weekend, so that trip was perfect timing. I got to go to breakfast with my cousin, who is more like my sister, this morning and we had a great time. An old highschool friend was our waitress, someone who I haven’t seen since junior year, she was Rizzo, and I was Danny Zuko in Grease together…yeah, me in Grease…
Well, every Tuesday night my entire moms side of the family gets together for dinner at my grandma’s house. Well, I walk into the house, and Brian was sitting at the dinner table. So, needless to say, I lost it, and so did my mom. And to top it off…Kelsie gets to graduate.

dear rmagick…thank you for having a memory leak that eventually crashed my computer tonight…dont worry, lappy is ok… 4 months agoI feel like I should deffend myself…this post was in response to my post about the tumblr code reviewer kicking me out of the IRC channel the day I found the security flaw in tumblr’s admin interface. This wasn’t a feature request that I sent in the email, this was something that compromised somewhat private information of ALL of tumblrs users…i sent the email in probably 1hr and 45 minutes before it was fixed, and then my friend posted it on the ycom message boards(which, I personally wouldn’t have done) 45 minutes after i sent the email when all i got back was an automated response…
So, things aren’t always what they seem…I just thought it was funny that the guy kicked me out after he verbally abused me, and i finally came back with something…
